This was a 25 hour long distance rally. There were 3 starting locations to choose from: Dothan, AL, Owensboro, KY or Altoona, PA. We chose Dothan, AL for our starting point. Everyone finished in Lynchburg, VA. We started at 12:00 pm on a Friday afternoon and finished up at 12:45 pm (15 minutes to spare!) on Saturday afternoon in Lynchburg, VA. The idea is to ride to as many bonus point locations (determined by the Rally Bastards) as you can. A picture of you and your rally flag are required to prove that you were actually at the location. We ate beef jerky and protein bars on the bike and drank water at every gas stop. This allowed us to rack up the miles and points by not taking any long breaks. We did take a well needed 3 hour rest break at a hotel in Louisville, KY. We ended up in the top five finishers from the Dothan starters. All said and done, we rode 1,150 miles in 25 hrs and had a blast!
