This trip included our good friends Hayward & Trena Mathis and Wayne & Heidi Cornutt. We would take a week to ride to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, over to Washington DC (to see the Vietnam Memorial), up through Amish Country in Pennsylvania, stop in Philadelphia for an original Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, through the Pocono Mountains to Great Barrington, Massachusetts. When we were in DC, the heat index was over 115 degrees. After we arrived in Great Barrington, MA, we had another week to ride around and enjoy the New England area. A great time was had by all!
