We enjoyed a long President's Day weekend with Hayward & Trena Mathis visiting Key West. We stayed 2 nights at a KOA campground in Homestead, FL. We got up early and rode out to Key West for a long day. We stayed to watch the Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square, before we headed back for the night. The Sunset Celebration is every night (weather permitting) on Key West. On the way home, we rode the Tamiami Trail. This country road is parallel with Alligator Alley. A waterway flows beside most of the trail. We saw a lot of alligators in the stream as we rode along the trail and through the Florida Everglades. If you get the chance, visit Key West. You'll love it!
