We stay in Stewart, BC (2 miles from Hyder). Notice the snowmobiles in the trucks.
It was a 3-day weekend for Canadians, so they came to Stewart, BC to play.

We saw several black bears along the side of the road eating.
Most of the time, the bears would run to the treeline until we passed by.
Not scared of us, just cautious.
We stop in the road to take this picture. Momma bear is not afraid of us at all.
